Hose solutions for construction sites

From job-site dewatering to pneumatic tool supply — we supply suction, air, concrete, and welding hoses built for the rough conditions of construction environments. Abrasion-resistant covers, high-tenacity reinforcement, and kink-resistant constructions rated for continuous duty.

Heavy-duty hose on a construction site dewatering an excavation

Common challenges in construction hose operations

Dewatering hose collapse on deep excavations

Standard suction hose collapses under vacuum in deep excavations exceeding 6 meters. Our wire-reinforced rubber suction hose maintains full bore at depths up to 15m, keeping water removal continuous.

Air hose failure on heavy breakers

Pneumatic breakers generate pulsating pressure that fatigues standard air hoses. Our hybrid high-tenacity air hose handles continuous breaker duty with 3000+ hour service life.

Concrete hose wear at pump discharge

The first 10 meters of concrete pump discharge line experiences the most abrasion. Our thick-tube concrete placement hoses deliver 2x the wear life of standard hose at the critical discharge point.

Field result: Brazil — Deep excavation dewatering

Brazil Construction

Situation: Large excavation project in São Paulo reaching 12m depth. Standard smooth-bore suction hoses were collapsing under vacuum, requiring frequent replacement and causing pump downtime.

Solution: Upgraded to helix-reinforced rubber suction hose with wire helix embedded in the wall, maintaining full bore under sustained vacuum at depth.

Outcome: Zero collapse incidents over 6 months of continuous operation. Dewatering pump uptime improved from 76% to 98%.

Construction hose FAQ

What hose do I need for construction site dewatering?

For suction-side (pump intake), use wire-reinforced rubber suction hose that won't collapse under vacuum. For discharge-side (pump outlet to discharge point), PVC layflat is economical and effective. Match hose ID to your pump outlet.

What working pressure is needed for pneumatic breakers?

Most heavy breakers require 100-150 PSI at the tool inlet. Account for pressure drop over hose length — for 30m+ runs, use 3/4" or 1" ID hose to maintain adequate flow. Our hybrid air hose is rated to 300 PSI with a 4:1 safety factor.

How long does concrete pump hose last?

Service life depends on aggregate size, pump pressure, and daily volume. Standard concrete placement hose typically delivers 500-1500 m³ of pumped concrete. Our heavy-duty abrasion tube extends this to 2000-3000 m³ before replacement is needed.

Are your welding hoses rated for both oxygen and acetylene?

Yes. Our twin-line welding hose includes separate Grade R tubes: red for acetylene (max 200 PSI) and blue/black for oxygen (max 200 PSI). The cover is oil-resistant and flame-retardant per EN 559 / ISO 3821 standards.
