How PVC layflat hoses enabled rapid emergency water distribution for a municipal water authority.
Situation: A municipal water authority in Egypt needed 5,000m of PVC layflat hose for emergency water distribution to communities affected by supply line disruption. The hoses had to be deployable quickly and compatible with existing camlock fittings.
Solution: Supplied 3-inch PVC layflat hose in 100m lengths with pre-attached camlock couplings. The hose was lightweight enough for manual deployment and UV-stabilized for outdoor surface use.
Outcome: Full 5,000m of hose deployed within 48 hours of order, restoring water supply to affected areas. The municipality now maintains 10km of our layflat in reserve for future emergencies.

We offer jetting hoses in three pressure grades: 1,500 PSI (standard drain cleaning), 2,500 PSI (heavy residential sewer), and 4,000 PSI (municipal main line cleaning). Always match the hose rating to your truck's maximum pump output.
Yes, our pool and spa hoses are made from UV-stabilized PVC with chlorine-resistant formulations. They withstand continuous exposure to chlorinated water, pH balancers, and algaecides used in standard pool maintenance without degradation or leaching.
Our residential garden hoses are made from food-grade PVC and are phthalate-free and lead-free. They are suitable for drinking water use and pass relevant safety standards. For potable water applications, we recommend specifying our NSF-certified hose option.
